Absence makes the waist grow slimmer

Well at least that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Hope you’re all well! Haven’t seen you for a while, come on in and take a load off. Now, most of my new Melbourne friends won’t have any idea what this is all about, so a quick rundown for the newbies in the audience. A while back, I started a blog to keep myself motivated about losing weight/getting healthy. I go through stages of posting often and posting seldom. I’m going to take another punt at high frequency posting and see how I go.

So, I guess all of you old hats are wondering how I’ve been going lately? Well I haven’t been sitting around twiddling my thumbs. I’m still going to the gym, just haven’t gotten my groove back from when I left Sydney yet. I’ve found that I’m fitting into clothes I haven’t worn in YEARS, which is an amazing feeling. I have dropped a couple of sizes since my last post, and have thrown out several items that just don’t fit anymore. I am desperately in need of new work clothes, but I figure I’ll wait a little longer before going on a shopping spree. I can rock the baggy shirt look for a while right…. Right?

Weight: 107.5kg

Muscle percentage: 39.1%

Fat percentage: 36.5%

Goal progress: 48.2%

Ok, so I am clearly not going to reach my goal by my birthday (see last post). However, if I get back into double digits in the next month, I’ll be satisfied. Am nearly half way!! It’s interesting that the fat/muscle percentages are hovering around the same numbers. I guess there’s just.. less of me?
